Neil’s brother, Stephen, was discovered dead in his Wolverhampton apartment in 1997, at the age of 37.

Although some sources reported that he died of a drug overdose, Neil made no comments about it in public.

He characterizes Stephen’s pain as tragic because he was the closest to him.

The brothers didn’t see each other much as adults, but Stephen’s death left a scar on his heart.

In a 2011 interview with MailOnline, he stated, “We never really knew how or why he died.”
