We all know that racism has always been a problem in America.
We’ve heard a lot about racism-related violence in the news.
Racism exists in every corner of America and in every industry, and there are no signs of it abating anytime soon.
Racism has resulted in violence and criminal activity.
Racism against Asians has escalated as a result of the recent COVID crisis.
This prejudice towards Asian Americans began mostly as a result of former President Trump’s reference to coronavirus as the “China virus.”
And people accuse everyone of Asian heritage of being the source of the virus.
As a result, many people are prejudiced against Asians.
Currently, racism towards Asian groups is on the rise, and many people of Asian heritage have been victims of it.
The elderly are disproportionately victims of such hate violence.
Atlanta’s heinous murder incident
Two massage parlors in Atlanta were shot last night. One in the suburbs killed eight individuals, many of them Asian women.
Following that, five individuals were shot and two died at Young Asian Massage Parlor.
Meanwhile, three people were taken to the hospital. Two of them have already perished.
While the exact reason for the murder is unknown.
However, the killings occurred during a recent surge of violence against Asian Americans.
Be a result, this is being referred to as an Asian hate crime as well.
The NBA teams and players were likewise moved by the latest news and expressed their solidarity.

The Golden State Warriors also commented on the situation, saying:

Jeremy Lin, a Santa Cruz Warriors player who was referred to as a coronavirus by another player, has since spoken out about racism.
He speaks out once more, condemning the incident.
