Trinity LaShawn Fatu, known professionally as Naomi, was born on November 30, 1987.

She was born in the Florida town of Sanford.

McCray (father) and Grace (mother) had Trinity.

She is her parents’ second child, following her brother.

Naomi had a typical yet pleasant childhood in Florida, where she resided with her parents.

Naomi enjoyed dancing and began taking dance lessons when she was eight years old.

In her classes, she learned jazz, lyrical, modern, hip hop, and tap.

Naomi completed her high school education at Oviedo High School.

Besides, she was the most gifted student in her class.

Nonetheless, she competed in numerous dance competitions and won numerous medals.

Naomi was doing so well that she was invited to audition for the NBA Orlando Magic.

Nonetheless, she was signed directly by WWE in August 2009 and brought to FCW. In addition, she was given the ring name “Naomi.”

Naomi made her FCW debut alongside Alex Riley as a tag team partner against Aj Lee and Bret DiBiase.

Unfortunately, she lost that match.

On August 31, it was announced that Naomi would be a part of NXT’s all-female third season. Naomi’s mentor was assigned to Kelly Kelly (Pro).

As a result, Naomi made her NXT debut alongside Kelly Kelly on September 7.

They were up against Maxine and Alicia Fox, and Naomi won the match after pinning Maxine.
