On July 9, 2021, the When Hope Calls actress announced on Instagram that she will be leaving the social media network for a while.
She announced the news by posting a hazy photo of herself with short messages written over it.
“Running away from Instagram for a little while,” one text said.
“There has been far too much spiraling,” she added. “I’ll see you shortly.”
According to her statements, she decided to take a break from Instagram because she was very involved with it.
As a result, she made the decision to create time for herself, her soon-to-be husband Drew Nelson, and her career.
Her decision was supported by her Instagram friends and followers, who left encouraging comments in the comments section.
“Enjoy your break, you will be missed,” one fan said.
