Michael Stickler has finally explained why he received alimony from his ex-wife Kat Stickler. Mike began NGL’s anonymous Q&A on his Instagram story on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, where he answered several personal questions.
One Instagram user questioned him about why he received alimony from his ex-wife.
“I guess I’ll clear this up as well,” Mike wrote at first. “I received a SETTLEMENT for a half-owned asset.
It arrived IN THE FORM OF ALIMONY. This is tax-wise beneficial to both parties.”
“Unfortunately, narratives can be controlled on social media by leaving certain details out on purpose,” he continued. i.e., simply labeling what I perceived to be alimony, which is generally regarded negatively.”

Kat was seen lip-syncing and dancing to Russ’s remix of HANDSOMER (Feat. Ktlyn) in a video posted on March 15.
“When you just paid your last alimony check…and now you can focus on you and your daughter,” she wrote in the video’s overlay text.
Kat later revealed the alimony details in her TikTok live stream on March 24.
“Yeah, so people were very surprised with the alimony,” she explained. I mean, I understand it’s sort of assumed, but it was assumed that nothing should have been paid.”
“However, yeah. I mean, I’m going to be… It was only a small part of it. “I mean, I have child support to pay, and I just finished the last payment [of alimony],” she added.

Mike, as previously stated, answered several more personal questions during his Q&A sessions.
One of the first questions he was asked was whether he missed being a TikTok celebrity.
“Not at all,” he replied. At. All. ‘Fame’ is not something I wish on anyone.
Because everything happened so quickly and by chance, it is what it is.
It was entertaining at first, but then it wasn’t. It’s exhausting to feel compelled to maintain an image. I also accept full responsibility for presenting people with a false reality.”
“That’s something I began really having a problem with and what drove me to despise it.
I’m not sure, I could probably write a book about it, but these are my high-level thoughts. Just not for me, and I’m perfectly fine with that:)” he added.
Another question was whether he thought it was appropriate to post photos of his daughter, MK, with his current girlfriend, Tia Borso.
“It’s as if you want her to be her mother,” the person added.
“You know, I’m going to answer this,” Mike began his response.
And I’ll respond with a question: “Would you rather Tia hate MK and push her away, or would you rather she pour her heart out loving MK?”
“Your reasoning, like so many others I see out there, is backward and extremely immature.
MK deserves to be loved, and she is. All parties involved. Tia has taken on a HARD role, and stupid people on the internet like you make it even more difficult.”
Mike went on to say that Borso has handled the responsibility with such strength and grace that he believes he should be commended.
“She adores MK and does more for her than most people realize,” he added.
Furthermore, he continued, “MK LOVES TT (that’s what she calls her), and Tia LOVES MK.
And, again, the goal of any healthy relationship is to one day share a life together and marry – this bond is unbreakable.”
“Suggesting that MK be given the cold shoulder is simply stupid.
I hope that more people start thinking like that instead of casting stones.”
The third question was whether it was difficult for him to share his daughter with another man [Kat’s new boyfriend]. “It’s difficult to share MK, period,” Mike responded. Every day she isn’t with me, I miss her.”
“BUT I have seen how wonderful and beautiful the effects of having involved and loving bonus parents are,” he continued.
MK is deserving of it. I value anyone in her life who genuinely cares about her and wants what is best for her.
I hope whoever she gets as a bonus father figure supports, guides, and nurtures her.”
