How Michael Jordan’s son wound himself in prison

After an incident in a pub in Scottsdale, Arizona, the 32-year-old found himself on the wrong side of the law.

Jeffrey Jordan fell and slammed the back of his head against a table at Casa Amigos around 1 a.m. on September 26, 2021.

He was taken to the hospital for medical treatment, according to Fox News.

He became confrontational at the hospital and was later charged with aggravated assault on a health care professional.

According to AZ Central, Jordan was under the supervision of a doctor until early afternoon before being brought to Scottsdale City Jail.

Jordan was released within an hour after no formal charges were filed.

The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office is investigating the case.

Michael Jordan’s firstborn son never played professionally, but he did play collegiate basketball from 2007 to 2012 at the University of Illinois and the University of Central Florida.

Jeffrey Jordan works for Nike, where he is in charge of digital innovation for the Jordan Brand, according to Forbes.

He also founded Jordan Avakian Group (JAG), an investment and consultancy organization that works with start-up enterprises in sports and entertainment.

He currently resides in Portland, Oregon.

Jeffrey co-founded Heir Jordan with his siblings Marcus and Jasmine.

According to TMZ, Jeffrey Jordan appeared “confused and disoriented after the fall.”

He was reportedly “aggressive with security as they attempted to remove him out of the bar to require medical assistance.”

It is unclear whether his injuries were caused by his unpredictable behavior, as he has no prior arrest history.

Marcus Jordan, his younger brother, has seen the inside of a jail cell.

The 6-foot-3, 205-pounder also attended the University of Central Florida.

The Jordan brothers got into problems in Las Vegas in 2010, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

Marcus, a 20-year-old sophomore in college, had allegedly had a crazy night of drinking.

He boasted on Twitter about billing more than $50,000 in drinks to their Aria Hotel & Casino suite.

Although the boys were never charged, the hotel was investigated for enabling underage drinking.

Marcus was in trouble again in 2012, but this time he went to jail.

According to Reuters, he was arrested after a “drunken altercation outside a motel in Omaha, Nebraska.”

The 21-year-old was “extremely animated, inebriated, and uncooperative,” according to authorities.

When the police came, he was apparently fighting with two women in the hotel driveway.

“After a brief fight, it took many officers to restrain and handcuff the offender,” they claimed.

“Charged with disorderly behavior, resisting arrest, and obstructing justice,” the former UCF guard said.

He was arrested and then freed.
