Who is Michael Angarano?
Michael Angarano has had a lot of success in his career and is one of the most well-known faces on television. Michael Angarano’s personal life, on the other hand, has been marred by failed relationships and high-profile breakups.
As a kid actor, the actor of Italian origin made waves in Hollywood, and his breakthrough part came in the 2005 film Sky High.
His TV career began with Will & Grace, and he later appeared on Cinemax’s historical drama The Knick.
Since 2017, he has been associated with Showtime’s series I’m Dying Up Here.
His TV appearances had reduced by that point, and in an interview with The Huffington Post during the promotion of The Knick’s second season in 2015, he stated that he had been acting for a long time and expressed his joy at having chosen acting over anything else.
Career as an Actor
He was the second of four children born on December 3, 1987, to Italian parents.
Despite his preference for sports as a child,
the allure of dancing academies proved too strong for the actor, prompting him to seek a career in show business.
Michael found interest in movies from a young age because his parents had a dancing studio and gave him his first taste of show business.
In the late 1990s, the Crespi Carmelite High School alumnus auditioned for the role of young Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace.
Despite not being cast, the audition piqued his interest, and he decided to pursue a career in Hollywood.

He stated in an interview that he had become more experimental with parts.
He’d done an Indie film called The Stanford Prison Experiment just before signing with the company and indicated,
that he was reaching a point in his career where he needed to be more selective about the jobs he took.
And that personality was on display in the program,
as he turned down many directors’ offers after The Knick, eventually landing a role in Showtime’s sitcom I’m Dying Up Here.
Michael Angarano Has Joined the Cast of ”This Is Us”
In October 2018, it was reported that Michael would be taking up the role of Milo Ventimiglia’s character, Jack Pearson’s brother, Nicky, in This Is Us.
Viewers had already seen Jack’s brother as a child, when he and his big brother sat in their father’s car for too long, waiting for their father to exit the pub.
The viewers had also seen an earlier, bespectacled version of him in old photographs that Jack had kept concealed from his family.
But Michael is breathing fresh life into the role,
and taking over scares Nicky learns he has been recruited and must report for duty in Vietnam.
In a previous episode, Nicky goes into service, and Jack feels powerless because he can’t protect him because it is an older brother’s only role,
according to his father shortly after Nicky’s birth.
More is on the way, as Michael revealed to Entertainment Weekly that Nicky’s reaction to Jack’s arrival in Vietnam will be ‘complex.’
That will be revealed when the show airs.
