What Caused Melanie Olmstead’s Death?

Melanie passed away on May 25, 2019, in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah, United States.

She was 50 years old when she died. Her death has yet to be determined.

Melanie’s family and friends held a memorial service on June 30 in her honor.

Her loved ones had also gone horseback riding the day before, on June 29.

One of her friends wrote about the event,

Horsewomen, writers, artists, actors, and crew from theater and film! Some I’ve known for over 30 years! What lovely souls! My Salt Lake clan! Ride on, our lovely Melanie Olmstead!

Similarly, another friend made a touching remark following the tragic loss.

I recall the first time I saw Melanie’s sweet face… back in the 1990s.

And every time after that, I was struck by her serene demeanor.

Melanie is no longer among us. But her contribution as a person will live on and be remembered forever.
