Who is Scarlett Johansson?

Scarlett Johansson’s character Black Widow faces Taskmaster in the upcoming Marvel film Black Widow, whose origins may be traced back to Robert Downey Jr’s ego Tony Stark.

We fell in love with Scarlett Johansson’s character Black Widow AKA Natasha Romanoff when she first appeared in the MCU in Jon Favreau’s “Iron Man 2” and have been waiting for her solo film for almost a decade.

While the wait has been extended due to the global epidemic

We at “HollywoodMask” have been thinking about the classic villain, Taskmaster, who will be pitted against the super spy.

As some of you may already know, the Taskmaster is a great soldier who can learn his opponents’ fighting styles and use that information against them.

That makes him a difficult combatant, especially for someone like Black Widow who lacks superhuman abilities.

Let’s skip over the facts of his comic book beginnings and instead concentrate on how the MCU may justify his talents.

We have plenty of evidence to believe that the Taskmaster is yet another Marvel Cinematic Universe supervillain whose origins can be traced back to Tony Stark, aka Iron Man.

So far, the “Black Widow” trailers have confirmed

The Taskmaster’s fighting style is consistent with Hawkeye and Black Widow.

As we have seen him take aim with an arrow tipped with an explosive similar to the one Hawkeye uses and use the same fighting stance as Black Widow in an intense one on one combat scene.

The only other time we saw something like that was when Iron Man faced Captain America in the second half of “Captain America: Civil War.”

The AI in the Iron Man armor assessed Captain America’s combat strategy before going on the offensive.

We’re not blaming anyone here, but we all know Tony Stark has either intentionally or unwittingly led to the creation of several MCU supervillains.

The most well-known example is James Spader’s portrayal of the sadistic robot Ultron in “Avengers: Age Of Ultron.”

Despite the fact that Tony sacrificed his life to save half of all life in the universe

Quentin Beck/loathing Mysterio’s of Tony prompted him to attempt to take control of E.D.I.T.H. in “Spider-Man: Far From Home.”

We discovered at the time that many ex-Stark Industries employees despise Tony Stark.

One of those individuals could have gained access to Tony’s lab or mainframe and stolen the combat program he developed.

Or, it’s not as if the folks who taught someone as skilled as Black Widow couldn’t learn the technology on their own.

In any case, there is a suspicious amount of overlap in these two characters’ powers.

Aside from understanding and countering his opponent’s fighting style, Taskmaster is supposed to manage the fabled Red Room, so it wouldn’t be a stretch to think he was a very skilled tactician and fighter to begin with.

The #BlackWidow film from Marvel Studios will be released in theaters on November 6.

More than anything, we want to know what Natasha meant when she suspensefully declared in the first “Avengers” film, “I have a lot of red in my ledger.”

Marvel Studios has already declared that “Black Widow” will be released in theaters on November 6, 2020, and I am confident that they will not disappoint.

We hope that by then, the world’s catastrophic condition as a result of this fatal pandemic has subsided.
