Last year at this time, we were locked into eighth place and had no intention of dropping much lower.

This year is a whole different story. There’s a lot at stake. “What I’m most proud of with this group is that they’re blocking out all the outside noise.”

Kyrie Irving had a big game in the losing effort

Kyrie Irving, the Nets’ star, missed a layup in the waning seconds, then scored a three-pointer, but it was too late.

“We need to be put through it,” Irving remarked. “We aren’t a flawless basketball team.” If we are not honest, we may be doing ourselves a big disservice. We just need more consistency down the stretch.”

Meanwhile, Kevin Durant had 20 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists.

He transferred it to some guys in exchange for some extremely excellent looks.”
