Matt Besler is an American soccer player. Matt Besler is now a central fielder with Austin FC of Major League Soccer. Sporting Kansas City was where Besler began his professional career. He was a member of the team for 11 years.

Matt has also represented the United States at the international level, notably in the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

He played college soccer for the University of Notre Dame before joining Kansas City and the American national football team.
