Professional Life
Folau began her professional netball career with the Auckland Diamonds, where she played from 2005 to 2007.
She had, however, started playing Netball in college and was the captain of MAGS’s inaugural Premier Netball squad. The squad finished fourth at the NISS and NZSS Championships under her leadership.
She joined the Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic in 2008, where she shared the shooting circle with Irene Van Dyk.
She was a Magic player for two years before shifting to the Northern Mystics in Auckland in 2010.
