You started modeling at a young age. How has this influenced your interest in fashion and modeling? When did it all start?
I started modeling at the age of 12 in Orlando, FL, and I loved it since it allowed me to meet new people and work with a variety of contemporary fashion trends.
Getting an early start in the fashion modeling business helped create the groundwork for me to love and have a genuine passion for fashion and modeling.

What was your very first modeling job?
My first modeling job was for a TV show called The Daily Buzz, where I was a fashion model showcasing various garments and styles…
I was ten years old at the time, and I’ve loved fashion and modeling ever since!
Do you have any memories of that initial event? That would be great to know.
I just remember how much fun it was to be a part of a performance and wear fun, new clothing, and I knew I could picture myself doing this as a job in the long run if given the chance.
Well, fantasizing about a career in fashion may have come naturally to you, but what did your parents and family think about it? Were they encouraging?
My mother has always been extremely encouraging and supportive of my modeling profession since I was a little girl.
She is my entire world and the most incredible person I know.
Growing up and witnessing mum manage the upbringing of myself and my five siblings is something I will always respect and be grateful for.
My mother is my greatest motivation, and I don’t know where or who I would be without her.
I’ve been fortunate in that she has always been caring and supportive.
My mother has the largest heart and the nicest soul, which has been a guiding factor in my entire fashion career.
My mum has always been there for me through the ups and downs of the fashion industry and has encouraged me every step of the way.
I believe that having a strong support system is critical to succeeding in this industry.
Everyone on my team refers to her as my boss, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
With several fashion shows, sponsors, events, and thousands of Instagram followers, you’ve established a respectable business for yourself.
Are you consciously attempting to inspire future generations?
Being a role model appears to be a lot of pressure because I am a human being who is continuously learning new things about myself, life, and the fashion world, but if I can provide some positive motivation for other younger models interested in pursuing this as a career, that is fantastic.
Hard work, enthusiasm, dedication, and commitment are characteristics of my fashion modeling profession that I hope young girls and boys will learn from.
We also noticed you wearing Jaded London hand/forearm wraps in one of your Instagram images. Can you elaborate on that?
Jaded London is a fantastic business that I’ve had the pleasure of working with, and they have a lot of fun, American 90’s themed styles that are becoming popular again.
I adored the matching set I wore with the hard/forearms colors and would recommend that everyone look them up online.
Do you think 90s-inspired fashion will be a big fall trend?
Yes, everything eventually returns, and many popular 90’s fashion styles are making a comeback, including bucket hats, forearm/hand coverings, velvet, and velour! Fashion is meant to be enjoyable and motivating, so I encourage everyone to participate!

Do you have any advice for aspiring fashion models?
My best advice to fellow models just starting out in the fashion industry is to network as much as possible, to never give up, to have faith and strong confidence in yourself, and to trust the process.
Pay attention to your instincts! It won’t be easy, and you will experience rejection numerous times—just it’s a part of the business, and it’s crucial to recognize and accept that early on.
I want everyone to know that almost everyone starts at the bottom and can reach their goals with hard effort and determination.
I also believe it is critical to have people around you that are constantly raising you up, encouraging you, and safeguarding you.
Building a loyal, trustworthy, and hardworking team with the same positive outlook and morals is critical to success in the fashion and influencer industries.
I am fortunate to have the support of my family.
It can be difficult to discover the appropriate people but know that they exist.
Martina, thank you for sharing your story.
Your life, your narrative, is truly inspirational!
