While Graham’s friend married Sylvia’s roommate, he could not marry Sylvia since things didn’t work out with them.
He supposedly didn’t marry her since she could not travel from Germany as her mother was quite old. Talking to Herald Online, he stated.
“Her mother was elderly, and I wasn’t going to stay in Germany.
I didn’t think she wanted to return back to South Carolina.”
Why Did Lindsey Never Get Married?
Questions regarding Graham’s marriage and relationships arose in the media after he launched his race for the presidency in 2016.
While he never got to be president, he did become the subject in the media because of his single status all while throughout his presidential campaign in 2015.

In 2018, American comedian Chelsea Handler posted a contentious statement regarding Lindsey’s sexuality.
Chelsea wrote a really offensive and immature comment in her tweet of October 12, 2018.
Moreover, she had made a similar charge on Lindsey in early 2018 where she wrote that Graham is being blackmailed to back Republicans because they had a video that may reveal him as gay.
