Lena Gieseke was able to breathe new life into one of history’s masterpieces, Picasso’s Guernica, thanks to her understanding of graphics and computer technologies.

“My primary intention for the project was to create a provoking and deep contemplation of Pablo Picasso’s Guernica,” Lena said of her three-dimensional teasing of the aesthetics.

Her 3D rendering of the 1937 painting allows viewers to see the work up close and personal.

The effects highlight the sculptural spectrum of art.

The video eventually concludes with the crowded allegorical indignation of the hand, following which the broken sword in the center of a flower is born barely visible.
