However, as the global epidemic, COVID-19, spread and all countries were forced to shut down everything, Lauren Fisher’s wedding was postponed as well.
But now that things are returning to normal, it appears that the Manteca, California resident is back to work on her wedding plans.
And she and her fiancé have already set a wedding date.
Rasmus Wisbech Andersen, Fisher’s long-time boyfriend turned fiancé, announced on July 30, 2020, via Instagram, that he and Fisher would exchange wedding vows on June 2, 2021.
In that announcement post, Andersen shared some sweet images snapped alongside his partner and captioned the image, writing, “COVID-19 prompted us to postpone our wedding. 2nd of June, 2021.
“I can’t wait to marry this lovely lady.”
Following such a declaration, followers of the fellow athlete pair shared their joy in the post’s comment area.
One fan said in the hundreds of comments, “You lucky boy! “Perfect fit,” another fan said, adding that he is counting down the days. “Yes!” he exclaimed. Countdown.”
Similarly, another Instagram user showed his happiness by stating that it will be worth the wait even though the wedding is quite far away.
“Awww!!!” he wrote. It will be well worth the wait!!!”
In terms of Fisher and Andersen’s relationship, the couple began dating on December 15, 2014.
On May 2, 2019, while on a vacation to China, Andersen got down on one knee and proposed to the love of his life—she said yes, and they were engaged.
