Lana Del Rey’s Photoshop disaster

Lana Del Rey took to Instagram Stories on August 8, 2022, to post a couple of mirror selfies of herself trying on Jeans.

She was dressed in a cute olive crop top with her hair half up and one hand on the waist of her jeans.

“Still feel like I’m in eighth grade while trying on jeans,” she captioned one photo.

The images appear normal at first glance. However, upon closer inspection, it is clear that she edited or photoshopped the image.

Her pictures have patterned backgrounds that look like doors.

Except where she has edited them, the designs are straight.

The frames near her shoulders are crooked in one photo, while the edges beside her hips and waist are curved in the other.

The photos were shared by the Instagram account @problematicfame, which claimed that the singer was caught editing photos and uploading them to the @honeymoon Instagram account.

@problematicfame went on to say that Del Rey’s editing of her photos was heartbreaking.

She went on to say that, given the context of the photos, the singer needed to learn to love herself rather than seek validation from others.

“She’s gorgeous and doesn’t need any edits,” @problematicfame concluded in her statement.

Del Rey has yet to respond to the Photoshop accusations.

What became of Lana Del Rey’s Instagram?

The ‘Born to Die‘ singer deleted Instagram in September 2021.

Before doing so, Lana Del Rey posted a video explaining why she was acting the way she was.

She stated in the black-and-white video that she was deactivating her social media accounts because she had “many other interests and other jobs” going on.

She required privacy and transparency for these.

She also revealed that she was working on Blue Banisters, her eighth studio album, as well as poetry books and spoken word albums.

“I’m still present and love what I do,” she said.

She assured her worried fans that she would always be available for music, but that she was “also just going on some different endeavors.”

She thanked them for their encouragement and hoped they enjoyed her album.

“It’s a compilation of older songs and a few newer songs, some written by family and friends and mostly old collaborators, and there will probably always be more to come,” she said of Blue Banisters.

Lana Del Rey concluded her video by saying, “I’m just going to keep my circle a little bit closer and continue to develop some other skills and interests.”

At the time of writing, Del Rey had not activated her official Instagram account and was only visible on her private account, @honeymoon.
