“I met her somewhere in Manhattan, I forget where, and she was extremely gorgeous,” Hernandez admitted back in 2018 on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
Hernandez, 64, described their relationship as “friends with benefits” as opposed to dating. He didn’t say when they started dating, but it was “before she was a countess.”
He had a 31% higher lifetime batting average than the league average. In 11 consecutive seasons, he received Gold Glove awards for his defensive play.
His total is the highest in baseball history for a first baseman.
