However, in the season two finale and the third season, this changed.
Ben was undoubtedly one of the most irritable and despised characters on the show during the third season.
However, many people who have been following Ben over the previous few months may have noticed his character alter.
Min mentioned in one of his interviews leading up to the release of Season 3 that his character may be the most despised in the new season.
Nonetheless, the American actor has no ill will toward the hatred directed at his role.
In fact, he appears to be content. On Sunday, June 26, 2022, Min, who stands 5 feet 11 inches (1.8 meters) tall, took to Twitter to share a photo of himself, which was most likely shot during season 3 filming.
In the caption, he thanked all The Umbrella Academy viewers for despising his character in season 3.
Furthermore, he stated that hatred was all he ever desired.
“Thank you for disliking him,” he said. It’s all I’ve ever desired.”
Several Twitter users applauded the actor for his excellent effort in transforming Ben from likable to hatable. “Played him a little too well bestie,” one wrote. I’m irritated every time he appears on the screen.”
“You did such fantastic work,” said another. “I hated loathed you, but I had no choice,” one Twitter user said.
Some fans, on the other hand, disagreed with Min’s statement, claiming that they still liked Ben despite the character change. “I don’t even detest him,” one Twitter user said. “I adore him.”

Ben Hargreeves, played by Justin H. Min, was first presented as one of the seven members of the Umbrella Academy.
