After graduation, he moved straight to the University of Memphis to play men’s basketball for the Memphis Tigers.
He learned how to improve games over his four years at university, and as a result, he was able to fill his bag with seven titles (personal and team).

A Professional Life
The Portland Trail Blazers selected the center in the second round of the 2008 NBA draft as the 33rd overall pick, but he was quickly moved to the Houston Rockets, where he only appeared in three games that season.
And, lacking a steady team, he bounced around between the Raptors and the Kings before settling up with Caja Laboral of the Spanish League for a year in 2011.
Dorsey, however, quickly joined Olympiacos, a Greek League team, after cutting his season short.
In the same season, he won the EuroLeague championship and the Greek League championship as League Best Defender.
In 2014, he returned to the Rockets and recorded a season-high 7 points and 12 rebounds in a defeat to the Golden State Warriors, but he was unable to secure a spot on the team for the following seasons.
Dorsey left the NBA after a year-long deal with Galatasary of the Turkish League that promised him $650,000 in net salary. He then spent two seasons with FC Barcelona before being released due to disciplinary issues.
In the 2018-19 season, he played in 20 games for another Greek Basket League team, Panionios B.C, averaging 9 points and 8.8 rebounds in 22 minutes per game in an attempt to extend his contract.
Then, in 2020, he moved to Germany, eventually settling in the Cyprus League with Apollon Limassol and eventually making it to APOP Paphos B.C. Division A on September 4, 2021.
