A Professional Life
Jim is a well-known basketball player. In 1983 and 1984, he was an NBA All-Star.
Jim was a member of the Portland Trail Blazers for nine seasons. He was Portland’s all-time leading scorer and played with the team from 1979 to 1988.
After that, Paxson was sent to the Boston Celtics. He played for the Celtics for two seasons.
