During his time at ESPN, he helped lead and grow the talent-producing department, as well as produce content for ESPN Radio.
He also developed relationships with sports’ biggest names and created and managed the NFL on ESPN’s social media channels, growing them to over 6 million followers on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
He is currently the host and producer of the Sports Spectrum podcast, in which he interviews athletes, coaches, and other figures about the intersection of sports and faith.
Jason also writes for Sports Spectrum magazine and contributes to SportsSpectrum.com on a daily basis.
Super Bowls took on a whole new meaning for him after he left ESPN and joined Sports Spectrum.
He wondered if the NFL and other sports leagues would accept media that focused solely on providing athletes with a platform to express their faith in God.
Jason stated that Sports Spectrum had been approved for credentials and that he was amazed at how God provided during the week preceding the Super Bowl in Minneapolis.
Jason is the author of two books in addition to his career. In 2020, his book The Uniform of Leadership: Lessons on True Success from My ESPN Life will be released.
In 2018, his other book, Live to Forgive: Moving Forward When Those We Love Hurt Us, was released.
