Retirement

On August 18, 2015, Jason signed with the Atlanta Hawks. Richardson, on the other hand, began to experience pain in his right knee less than a month later, and an MRI revealed bone spurs.

The athlete announced his retirement from the NBA on September 23, 2015, citing his concern that continuing to play might impair his ability to walk for the rest of his life.
