From High School to Professional
The Long Beach native began his career as a football player in high school and continued to compete in numerous events while also engaging in other sports.
Bell’s interest in football didn’t diminish despite the ongoing injuries he sustained while a student.
The cornerback eventually began his career as a professional football player after receiving his university degree. The Dallas Cowboys signed Jason as an undrafted free agent in 2001.
He was the team’s gunner and had the most tackles, with 21. Bell joined the Houston Texans right away in September 2002.
