Jan has unusual roots in East Africa, where she was raised by missionary parents.

It was the same city where JonBenet, John’s late daughter, had won Little Miss Charlevoix in 1994.

In July 2011, Jon Rousseaux married JonBenet’s father, John Ramsey.
