Paula Jones made quite a stir in the 1990s. Her personal life and career were both in shambles as a result. Jones was going through a lot at the time, from being involved in a lawsuit with the most powerful man in the United States to getting divorced from her first husband.
Paula Jones and Steven Mark McFadden, her husband
Jones and McFadden were neighbors before they started dating. In 1998, the couple met at a housewarming party.
McFadden used to work for a construction company. Jones met McFadden not long after her first divorce.
Jones stated, “He’s shy, and I was kind of shy, too,” when asked how they met. We’ve been dating since then.”
According to Deseret News, the couple married in October 2001.
Jones married her second husband at the Villa Marre residence in downtown Little Rock.

McFadden is also the stepfather to two of Jones’ children from her first marriage.
Paula Jones and her former husband Stephen
Many American presidents have skeletons in their closets.
Most have been involved in various scandals, some of which have been massive and defamatory, while others have been minor and petty.
Bill Clinton, the 42nd President of the United States, was one of the leaders who had a disastrous tenure as President of the United States.
Many women, particularly his employees, accused Clinton of sexual harassment. Jones was among them.
She claimed that when he was Governor of Arkansas, the former President harassed her.
In 1994, she filed a lawsuit, but Clinton denied all of the allegations.
The lawsuit lasted four years before ending in a settlement. Clinton stated that he would pay $850,000 to have Jones drop her case.
Later, the judge decided that Jones would receive $200,000, with the remainder going toward her legal fees.
However, Clinton continues to deny the sexual assault and harassment allegations.
Throughout all of this, Jones was married to her first husband, Stephen, with whom she has two children.
According to reports, the lawsuit and trial strained their marriage.
The pair allegedly disagreed on Jones’ sexual harassment lawsuit strategy.
As a result, the couple divorced after seven years of marriage.
They initially claimed that they divorced in February 1999 and had hopes of reconciling.
Stephen, on the other hand, filed for divorce from his wife in June 1999.
He cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split.
He also requested joint legal and physical custody of their children.
Jones married her second husband, McFadden, soon after the divorce.
The Jones v. Clinton case has received extensive media coverage.
It was recently the inspiration for Ryan Murphy’s American Crime Story’s third installment, Impeachment.
Jones was played by Annaleigh Ashford, and President Clinton was played by Clive Owen.
