Luke Macfarlane appreciates being a part of Hallmark
As he has stated in several interviews, he is grateful for his time with Hallmark and appreciates all of the opportunities he has had.
“One thing I really enjoyed about making Hallmark movies is it’s really fun to flirt,” Macfarlane told the Los Angeles Times.
It’s exciting to play that energy on camera, when relationships are at their best. “I guess Hallmark has taught me a lot about flirting.”
“For a long time, Hallmark gave me jobs,” he told Yahoo in an interview.
He stated that they allowed him to be the leading man rather than just the gay best friend. “I’ll be eternally grateful to them for that,” he said in the interview.
In previous years, Macfarlane signed a multi-picture deal with Vanity Fair.
After closing the deal, he will take a break from his regularly scheduled rom-com.

According to Vanity Fair, Macfarlane’s multi-film contract will expire this fall.
According to Deadline, the multi-picture deal was announced earlier this year, and the statement did not specify how long the agreement would last, only that it would cover many films.

In the gay rom-com Bros, Macfarlane co-starred as Billy Eichner’s love interest, Aaron, a “straight-acting and -appearing” attorney with serious commitment issues.
