Is Lewis Capaldi dating anyone?
At the time of writing, Lewis Capaldi is single, has no girlfriend, and does not appear to be dating anyone.
He might, however, be keeping his relationship and love life private.
So, unless Capaldi or his agents comment on his dating life, it is safe to assume that he does not have a girlfriend.
While he is not currently dating anyone, Capaldi knows exactly what he wants in a future girlfriend.
According to Mirror UK, he discussed his ideal woman on Magic Radio Breakfast.
“I would say a good sense of humor, low standards, not too concerned with the size of certain things, a small lady with small hands,” he said. Unfortunately for Capaldi, it appears that finding his ideal girlfriend will take some time.
This is due to his recent expulsion from Tinder, the popular dating app. He revealed on the Diary of a CEO podcast that he has kicked off the app because people suspected he was a fake.
Similarly, he has been removed from other dating apps such as Bumble and Hinge.
He liked using such apps because he liked meeting new people and admitted that he would be happy if he could meet the right person for him.
Lewis Capaldi’s dating history is investigated
Lewis Capaldi has had two public relationships to date. Paige Turley was his first ex-girlfriend, and Catherine Halliday was his second.
Turley allegedly cheated on him with his best friend, causing the relationship to end.
Many people thought Turley inspired ‘Someone You Loved,’ as well as his album Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent.
However, Capaldi stated at the 2020 BRIT Awards that ‘Someone You Loved’ was not about the reality TV star.
Instead, he dedicated the song to his late grandmother.
Halliday, Capaldi’s second public girlfriend, began dating him in 2020.
When a fan asked if he would rather be single or in a relationship, he revealed that he was in a romantic relationship.
“I’m in a relationship, so if I said the other one, my girlfriend would kill me,” he explained.
He went on to say that he hadn’t confessed to her yet, but gushed about her, saying, “She’s got red hair, she’s got quite a posh voice.” And that’s all you’re going to get.”
In February 2020, it was revealed that his girlfriend’s name was Halliday.
They’ve been seen going on dates a few times since then.
“They met a few months ago through mutual friends and were in Ibiza together at the same time,” a friend of Capaldi said, “but have decided to keep things quiet for now and just see how things end up working out.”
Unfortunately, their relationship did not last long, and they split up seven months after meeting.
According to the Daily Mail, the singer has “no hard feelings” toward his ex-girlfriend.
“They’re still amicable, but they decided it was best to call it a day,” they added.
He’s at the start of his career, with plenty of opportunities at his fingertips, so now isn’t the time to settle down.”
Lewis Capaldi’s dating life has recently been called into question again, following the release of his latest single, ‘Forget Me,’ in September 2022.

According to the singer, he wrote the song after feeling “miserable” that one of his ex-girlfriends was doing better than him after their breakup.
“I was in a relationship with a lady, and it had been about a year since I wrote that song, so she seemed to be in a much happier situation than I was, and I didn’t like that.”
In fact, I can say that I despised it. “I wanted her to be unhappy, so I wrote this song about it,” he explained to Mirror UK.
As a result, Capaldi’s fans were curious as to who the lady he was referring to was or if he was referring to one of his two public ex-girlfriends. That question, however, remains unanswered.
