Greg Anthony’s Professional Basketball Career

In the first round of the 1991 NBA draft, Anthony was selected by the New York Knicks as the 12th overall choice.

Greg was a terrible shooter with average accuracy, but where he shone was on defense, where he was a great guard.

He was a point guard for the Knicks the next year, making his debut in 1982.

From 1992 until 1995, Anthony was a defensive specialist for the New York Knicks.

He subsequently spent two seasons with the Vancouver Grizzlies before joining the SuperSonics.

From 1995 to 1997, he was a member of the Memphis Grizzlies.

Following that, he joined the Seattle SuperSonics for one season, the 1997/98 season.

Similarly, he was a part of the Portland Trail Blazers from 1998 to 2001, serving as their defense for four seasons.

Greg Anthony was caught in a prostitution sting operation at the Washington Hotel on the night of January 16, 2015.

Greg and his wife, Chere, had had their first child on March 25, 2014, a year previously.
