TikTok has been flooded with videos claiming that popular creator Chris Olsen is in charge of the account for Harry Styles’ beauty company, Pleasing. Despite the lack of a face, the account appears to be managed by a single person rather than a social media team.
Pleasing, a skincare and nail polish line with the Gen Z emblem on the front, was launched in 2021. The company’s TikTok presence, which was significantly revamped in October, has garnered attention for its “authentic” content, with the majority of videos appearing to have been shot on a mobile phone from a person’s home.

After noticing similarities between Olsen’s sense of humor and the brand’s most recent material, fans began to suspect that Olsen is behind the Pleasing account.
Furthermore, fans have noticed similarities between Olsen’s apartment and the location where Pleasing films its videos.
In the videos, the flooring, kitchen counters, couch, and doorway appear to be the same.

While the evidence was mounting, creator Alexia Houde backed up her theory in a video by showing how a related blue item can be seen in recent TikToks from both Olsen’s and Pleasing’s accounts.
She also shared a screenshot of Olsen’s video, in which nail paint bottles with Pleasing’s distinctive round caps can be seen sitting on his desk.
According to digital creator @producerliz, the brand’s TikTok presence has benefited greatly from this strategy in the two weeks since the TikTok star allegedly took charge.
“The aesthetic?” she claimed. Gone. What about the figures? So much better. Why? TikTok is not a place for glitz.”
She goes on to say that hiring influencers for one-time campaigns rather than engaging them on a long-term basis can help marketers contribute to these apps in a way that truly connects with their customers.
