Nash and Betts met on social media in 2015 and became close
when the Claws actress was still married to her ex-husband Jay Tucker.
Following their divorce in October 2019, the close friends’ relationship became heated.
“Not only was it difficult for me to understand I’m having sentiments for a woman that I’ve generally felt for a man,”
Nash told Essence magazine, “but it was compounded by the fact that this is my friend.”
She went on to declare that she would not do anything that would cause Betts to leave her life permanently.
On August 29, 2020, the couple exchanged vows in a private ceremony
before disclosing their happy news to the public.
On September 1, 2020, the celebrity shocked her admirers by sharing a photo from her wedding to lover Betts.
The actress, 52, was shown holding her bouquet in one hand while wearing
a white mermaid-style bridal gown, which the couple shared on their respective Instagram pages.
Similarly, Betts wore a white suit but skipped the jacket for a more laid-back casual look.
