The married couple’s relationship dates back to 2014 when they initially began dating.
Their shared job appears to have brought them together, albeit it is uncertain when and where they initially met.
After four years of dating, they thought it was time to take their relationship to the next level.
Woodruff and Swan exchanged rings and became engaged on March 11, 2018.
After being engaged for almost a year, they walked down the aisle in September 2019 to exchange wedding vows in front of close friends and family members.
Following their marriage, Woodruff adopted her husband’s surname, becoming Betsy Woodruff Swan.

Woodruff and Swan had a child
Not only have Woodruff and Swan been married for nearly two years, but they also have a one-year-old daughter named Esther Jane Swan.
On September 9, 2020, the journalist announced the birth of her daughter on Twitter.
She captioned a sweet image of her baby girl, “A big greeting to everyone from our brand new baby, Esther Jane Swan.”
The new parents took some time off work after the birth of their child.
Swan added in the aforementioned interview, “I took a couple of weeks—ish,” referring to the parental leave he took.
Furthermore, he stated, “It was difficult to have a baby certainly anytime, I imagined, but this year was challenging.”
He then praised his wife and mentioned how his family was unable to attend his daughter’s birth due to the pandemic.
“But my wife, Betsy, is fantastic, and I think one of the hardest things has been that my family hasn’t been able to come out for their first grandchild,” he said. They’ve all returned to Australia.”
