Iverson, on the other hand, has yet to obtain a position in Philadelphia’s front office or coaching staff. And the man is perplexed.

A Sixer is a Sixer forever.
Iverson expressed his lifelong love for the Sixers in an exclusive interview with Bleacher Report in October of last year.
And he’d be delighted to share his knowledge and experience with the current Philadelphia group.
But, for some reason, AI is perplexed as to why the organization he helped create has yet to contact him.
“Everyone knows who I’d rather help,” Iverson explained.
“I’ll be a Sixer for the rest of my life.
Sixer blood was coursing through my veins.
Everyone knows I want to assist the group.
What, 11 years have I been retired? I’m not sure how I’m not a member of that staff in some way.”
Iverson went on to say that the Sixers have always been like family to him and that he would have accepted even a special consultant role.
More significantly, AI stated unequivocally that money will never be a problem.
“Even if it was a [consulting position]. I’d be the happiest person on the planet.
And what about the money? It has nothing to do with me.
It’s just me being myself and a Sixer wanting to help.

There is no hatred, only love.
Iverson made it plain from the start that he would always be himself and would not change anything about himself,
no matter how unorthodox he appeared in the league.
With that in mind, the four-time scoring champion recognizes that the Sixers may have been hesitant since the way he portrays himself defies convention.
Nonetheless, Iverson isn’t bitter and just has a love for the Sixers.
“And I still adore you. Don’t get it mixed up. It’s all love, and it’s not going anywhere,
but I just… I don’t understand it “Iverson was perplexed.
Indeed, Iverson ranks among the Sixers’ all-time greats.
In fact, he is often regarded as the best Sixer of all time.
Who knows, maybe he’ll get a job with the organization in the near future.
