After seeing the show’s two key characters have a passionate kiss, fans began to question if the actors who played the roles were gay in real life.
The rumors, however, are unfounded because neither Carney nor Hartnett is gay.
Furthermore, Hartnett is married to his long-term wife, Tamsin Egerton.

Noblezada was still married to her longtime lover Leo Roberts at the time the two were pictured together – they married on November 4, 2017.
However, it was reported that the married pair divorced about six months ago, in early 2019.
The claims were validated when Noblezada filed for divorce from Roberts.
After the actress filed for divorce, it was almost certain that she was dating Carney.
There were also photos of them having a good time together.
Carney uploaded a photo with his now-confirmed girlfriend on Valentine’s Day 2020.
He had also penned a sweet caption, “Hoping you all have someone in your life who makes you feel as blessed as this one makes me. “Valentine’s Day greetings!!!”
