Career at Club

2006-2014

In 2006, he was called up to the Senior team for the first time after an outstanding performance in his age group.

On January 22, he made his first-team debut as a substitute in a match against Santos Laguna.

On February 12, he made his first full appearance in a 2-0 win over Veracruz, and a week later, he scored his first goal against Cruz Azul.

He only played five games for Roma before being moved after barely six months. Real Sociedad in Spain paid him a career-high transfer fee of €6 million.

Hector had a grade 1 injury shortly after joining the club, but returned after only a month.

Moreno enjoyed his time with Real Sociedad, however his contract with the club was canceled in July 2019.

He signed for Qatari Club Al Gharafa, after an eleven-year stint in European leagues, and became the first Mexican player to play in the Qatari division.
