Hallie Jackson and her partner, Frank Throp, have a child together
Jackson is the proud mother of Monroe Jackson Thorp, her two-year-old daughter.
Since early 2019, Jackson has been in a romantic relationship with NBC News producer and off-air reporter Frank Thorp.
There’s no doubt the two met as coworkers on the set of NBC.
On March 9, 2020, she and her partner Thorp welcomed their daughter.
On November 17, 2019, they announced the baby’s arrival during a Sunday Mail segment with Sunday TODAY host Willie Geist.
The correspondent expressed her and her partner Thorp’s excitement and displayed a photo of the couple holding a onesie with the words “Guess what?” written across it.
The photo was later shared on her Instagram as well.
She eventually confirmed the birth of the couple’s first child via Today and Instagram sometime later.
She revealed that the baby arrived a few weeks earlier than expected — she was due in early April — but that the 5-pound, 9-ounce bundle of joy arrived healthy.
“While we weren’t expecting the child of two journalists to arrive three and a half weeks before her deadline, Ro clearly saw no reason to wait any longer,” she wrote on Instagram.
The anchor named her daughter after her great-great-great-grandfather, according to HollywoodMask.
Having said that, Jackson and Throp aren’t married yet, but they’re raising their daughter together.
Hallie Jackson was previously married to Doug Hitchner, her college sweetheart
The former NBC reporter was married to Doug Hitchner, a former coworker who later became her lover.
They both attended Johns Hopkins University and were in a long-term relationship before marrying.
Hitcher rose to prominence after marrying NBC commentator Jackson, a former baseball player, and current United States baseball instructor.
According to reports, the ex-couple married in front of their closest friends and family in 2011.
Jackson kept her personal life very private.
Despite this, she kept her marriage to Hitchner a secret.
As a result, it’s unclear when and why the two college sweethearts divorced.
