Gisella Meyer is best known as a volleyball player for Florida Gulf Coast University.

She has, nevertheless, earned a name for herself in the wakeboarding world.

Meyer is a professional wakeboarder who won the Women’s A title at the NCAA wakeboarding championships in Shreveport, Louisiana, and Los Angeles, California.

Gisella won the title by defeating Shawna Hoffman, a well-known wakeboarder who had participated for Team USA in the IWSF Wakeboard World Championships.
