Who is Rob Mills?

Rob Mills, an Australian theatrical performer, is overjoyed.

On New Year’s Eve, he got down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend, Georgie Tunny.

He posted about it on his social media.

Rob, 39, posted a picture of them on a beach with his now-fiancee, Georgie, 30, showing off her new engagement ring.

In the caption, Rob wrote: ‘It was the best road trip of my life.’ I asked her to be my wife… ‘Everyone, have a Happy New Year.’

‘I hope you’ve picked up some new talents over the last few years.’

I dug deeper. Loved more. I paid greater attention. It’s worthwhile.

‘I had a couple of beers the other day with a friend.

He provided some marriage advice… ‘Give.’ That was all.

Simple. I’m going to try it. Because she is valuable.’

Rob also shared a snapshot of the two from the road trip, before he proposed to his girlfriend.

Georgie also shared the same photo of herself and Rob sitting on the sand at the beach, flaunting her new sparkler.

She captioned her post as follows:

‘Honestly, 2021… ‘However, you did finish with a bang.’

Rob and Georgie have been dating since 2018.

Rob began dating the ABC TV host after saying into her DMs.

When he saw her on TV, he fell in love with her.

He told The Sydney Morning Herald: ‘I turned on ABC News Breakfast and said, “Who is that?!” She was stunning and articulate.

‘I needed to get to know her.’ ‘I wrote her an Instagram direct message that began, “I promise I’m not crazy.”

She was hesitant at first but consented to go on a date with him.

Their relationship ran smoothly. Rob stated at the Derby Day celebrations in Melbourne in October 2021:

‘Everything is going swimmingly with Georgie.’

Rob did not respond when asked about the time of engagement at the time.

He noted that it was a terrific experience for the two to be together throughout Melbourne’s grueling lockdown, which lasted over 18 months.

He had stated: ‘Lockdown was good for me because I live with my wonderful boyfriend,’ she says.

In early 2020, Georgie moved into Rob’s house.
