Garcelle Beauvais may occasionally create dramas on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but she is certain of one thing: those dramas must be kept away from her children.
This statement from the reality TV star comes after her older and middle son was recently dragged into Garcelle’s feud with fellow cast members Erika Jayne, Lisa Rinna, and Diana Jenkins.
On August 23, 2022, Garcelle took to Twitter to express her disappointment and ask trolls to keep her children out of the Bravo TV show’s dramas.
Finally, she used the hashtag “#RHOBH.”
“I’m usually a very strong woman,” she said in her tweet. I’ve been taught to be strong throughout my life, but when it comes to my children! It hurts, it’s not OK; I’ve been crying all night; it’s just a TV show; people scream at your TV, throw things at your TV, but they leave our kids alone.”
Garcelle said the same thing on her Instagram account, where other celebrities agreed with her and showed their support. “LEAVE THEM ALONE,” Crystal Kung Minkoff wrote, and Dorit Kemsley added, “NOT OK!”
Moments later, Garcelle’s co-star Rinna chimed in with a lengthy message on her Instagram story, expressing her support.
“We’re filming a TV show.” We’re trying to entertain you; why can’t you treat it like wrestling for God’s sake? Love us – love to hate us,” she wrote at first.
“But leave the kids alone!” Rinna continued. What I just received regarding @garcelle son is disgusting and unacceptable.
They didn’t agree to this. What are you doing? All of our children should be off limits, so stop it right now. “Enough already.”
Later that day, Garcelle’s middle child, Jax Joseph Nilon, took to Instagram stories to share a video of himself scrolling through the comments section of his July 17, 2022, Instagram post.
What was seen in the video were comments left by trolls and RHOBH fans calling Garcelle an illiterate and a “D-list actress” who seeks fame.
Garcelle was also accused of “using race for everything” and referring to Jax’s family as “immigrants” by some.
Furthermore, some trolls used the opportunity to attack Garcelle’s oldest son, Oliver Saunders, and his struggle with addiction, which Garcelle has been open about on the Bravo show.
“Your mom calling Erika [an] alcoholic when your older brother was a drug addict,” one Instagram user wrote.
“The kettle is calling the kettle black.”
“Why is your mother obsessed with Erika’s alcohol consumption when she should be concerned about your brother Oliver’s drug consumption?” another cyberbully wrote
Jax then posted a screenshot of a comment that had exceeded the limit.
“You’d have your neck kneeled on if it weren’t for your white daddy, [Michael Nilon],” the comment read.
Tell your mother to leave Diana alone or you will have to deal with us.”
Jax had only one response to such a horrifying remark: “Too far at this point.”
Furthermore, he had a more soothing reaction in his later Instagram stories.
“Well, I’d like to start off by saying I am still a kid and would prefer not to be viewed as a fully matured adult because I am not,” he wrote.
It’s my first week of high school, and instead of enjoying it like most of the other students, I’m having to deal with being attacked on social media.”
He went on to say that he never signed up for RHOBH and had nothing to do with its drama.
He went on to say that he just wanted to be a normal kid and that his Instagram handle was not for publicity or public scrutiny.
Having said that, Garcelle and her three children are doing well and are dealing with the trolls calmly.
