1. In 2021, Kevin Hart Received a Llama

Hart’s bromance with Jumanji co-star Dwayne Johnson is the stuff of benign folklore,

and the small actor also has a nascent bromance developing in the background with Mark Wahlberg.

However, neither of these relationships has reached the heights that Hart’s prank war with Nick Cannon did in 2021.

Cannon delivered the birthday boy a fairly warm and fuzzy gift in the form of a real-life llama back in July.

However, the adventures did not end there.

Cannon took things a step further after Hart returned the favor by releasing

Cannon’s direct number in a series of advertisements around LA, New York, and Atlanta, by wrapping Hart’s private jet with a blown-up image of his face.

2. Kevin Hart’s Fear of Insects

Sure, some species of insect life would give even the most stoic among us the creeps,

but butterflies and grasshoppers? If you’re Kevin Hart,

there’s no difference between a nice little butterfly and a house centipede.

Hart suffers from entomophobia, which is an intense fear of insects, particularly flying insects.

3. Kevin Hart Ignored Career Advice…

His career has benefited as a result.

Early in his career, Hart worked for Lucian Hold, a manager and talent

booker who notably ‘found’ Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock, and Jerry Seinfeld.

Hart expected Hold to sign him on the spot since he thought he was “killing it” during the audition. Hold, on the other hand, had a different plan.

Hold took Hart backstage after his performance and inquired if he had another job.

When Hart responded that he didn’t, he was told flatly that he should “think about doing something else” since a career in comedy wasn’t for him.

4. The Poker Future

Hart’s love of poker is widely known; he’s been playing since 2010,

with different degrees of success. However, a few years ago, he branded himself the savior of poker by making it “fun.”

In addition to competing in the 2017 PokerStars Championship at the prestigious Monte Carlo Casino,

the outspoken actor famously declared that he had “bullied” himself

into working with the global gaming brand and that he wanted to become the new face of poker “because I love the game…and it’s missing me.”

It was a successful strategy, as Hart went on to participate in a

slew of promotional activities for the company that year,

including going head-to-head with Usain Bolt in a series of amusing poker-themed challenge videos.

5. Kevin Hart and Kobe Bryant were NBA campmates.

Hart, who is only 5 feet 4 inches tall, doesn’t exactly scream star hooper.

Nonetheless, Hart has had a lifelong interest in basketball and aspired to be an NBA player.

He even attended the same basketball training camp as Lakers legend Kobe Bryant as a teen.

Hart may not have taken the same road as the uber-talented Bryant,

but he never gave up on his aspirations and went on to play for the NBA.

Hart was a significant player in the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game for several years when he won the MVP award four years in a row.
