“I want to, and a lot of my friends have to,” she said in response. I really want to, and I guess I’ll start small, with acting.”
In terms of her dancing profession,
she spent the majority of her life dancing but was forced to stop due to an accident.
Because of that, she started acting in 2019 and went to acting classes in North Carolina for approximately a year.
She received an audition for Midnight Mass after performing some theater work.
She was with a commercial representative who had forwarded her the film’s monologue.
She finished her monologue and emailed it to me.
After a few days, she was able to contact the film’s director and land the job.
Cymone gained a lot from her first job with the Midnight Mass actors,
who she described as “very lovely and amusing.”
Cymone discussed her future ambitions, saying,
“I want to do as many things as possible because one of my favorite things
about acting is you get to put on so many different hats and see so many different perspectives on life.”
Before wrapping up the video, she encouraged the future generation to apply for multiple possibilities,
to always be the nicest person, and to always insist on taking the next step.
When asked what advice she would give her younger self, she said she wouldn’t change anything.
