Torino Club Career

At age 6, Balzaretti began his professional career by joining the various youth squads of his local club Torino.

He participated in the promotion drive that took the squad back to Serie A from 2004 to 2005.

Juventus

Moving on, on August 15, 2005, Balzaretti signed a free transfer agreement with Juventus, who play across the city.

He also claimed that despite receiving numerous treatments and having two operations, the pelvis injury he had been dealing with for the last two years has not allowed him to fully recuperate.

Balzaretti has also stated that he will collaborate with Roma throughout the management, reporting to Walter Sabatini, the club’s sporting director.
