Is Ezra Miller a gay man?
Miller’s ardent supporters may be aware that the actor came out as “Queer” — not gay — in 2012.
They did so during their Out Magazine interview.
While discussing the themes of the 2012 film The Perks of Being a Wallflower and how they related to their own childhood experiences, Miller simply stated, “I’m queer. I have a lot of really wonderful friends of various sexes and genders.”
“I’m madly in love with no one in particular. Do you know how I’ve been trying to figure out relationships?
I’m not sure if it’s responsible for kids my age to be pursuing monogamous binds so aggressively, because I don’t think we’re ready for them.”
“I’m just trying to make sure my lack of responsibility no longer hurts people,” they concluded.
That’s where I’m at in terms of the boyfriend/girlfriend/friend question.”
Miller did an interview with The Advocate the following year, and they were asked why they identified as “queer” when other celebrities identified as “gay” when they came out.
The question went on to ask, “Do you think it’s generational?” “It’s generational in the sense that that term is newly available in a certain way,” they responded.
I believe it is the most open and inclusive, which is why it applies to me personally.”
Miller went on to say that they believe many people fall somewhere on the open spectrum of sexuality.
“My friends and I use that word as an all-encompassing banner for all people.”
“Who you love and everything that goes with that very tricky and beautiful thing should be an ongoing question and investigation,” Miller concluded.
Years later, in a July 2017 interview with The Daily Beast, the actor clarified that they would not identify as gay.
“The way I would identify myself would not be gay.
I’ve mostly been attracted to’shes,’ but I’ve dated a variety of people and am open to love wherever it can be found.”
“I believe that many people project their own sexual problems and fears onto those around them, which results in the perpetuation of many hateful notions.”
Miller was interviewed by The Hollywood Reporter in November 2018, more than a year later.
The actor had previously identified as queer, according to the outlet. Miller immediately followed with:
“Sure, absolutely. To put it another way, I don’t identify. For example, [expletive].
Queer simply means I don’t do that. I don’t consider myself a man. I don’t consider myself a woman. “I barely recognize myself as a human.”
Simultaneously, they told GQ Style that their “gender identity is fluid” and that they are at ease with all pronouns. “I let him/his/him ride, which is fine.”
That, however, changed less than two years later.
Miller stated in a March 2020 interview with GQ Britain that he currently uses “they/them pronouns in a pointed refusal to be gendered or identified in any category.”
Furthermore, they stated in a since-deleted Instagram post from December 2021 that they no longer use other pronouns and prefer “they/them, it, or ze” pronouns.

Miller’s current romantic status is unknown.
They have kept information about his romantic life to themselves. As a result, it is unknown whether they currently have a boyfriend or a girlfriend.

“I’m trying to find queer beings who understand me as a queer being right away, who I have almost a familial connection with, and I feel like I’ve been married to them for 25 lifetimes from the moment we meet,” they said.
“And then they join the squad, the polycule.
“And I know they’ll love everyone else in the polycule because we’re in the polycule and we love each other so much,” Miller continued.
What happened to Miller’s polyamorous group of lovers is currently unknown.
Ezra Miller had a sexual partner who was also a friend
Miller discussed their relationship with sex in an earlier interview with Playboy Magazine, according to PinkNews.
They mentioned having their first sex dream when they were four years old.
They described the dream as having a witch who had trapped them on a waterspout that they described as “tantalizing and delightful.”
Miller then discussed some of their formative sexual experiences.
They revealed that he had a “friend and also sexual partner” during elementary school, which in the United States lasted until the age of 12.
