On April 5, 1977, Zac was born. Larry Bagans and Nancy June Knapp were his parents.

His father worked as a salesman for PepsiCo’s Quaker Oats division.

Similarly, his mother worked as a visual stylist and interior designer in Las Vegas.

Nancy married Thomas Knapp after her divorce from Larry, and Zak has a stepfather, Thomas Knapp.

Bagans also has a sister, Meredith Bagans Mixer, as well as a half-brother and half-sister, Phil Knapp and Sky Knapp.
