Moore was selected by the Boston Celtics in the second round of the 2011 NBA Draft, with the number 55 overall.

Moore had to sign a contract with Italy’s Benetton Treviso before joining the Celtics because of the 2011 NBA Draft Lockout.

On December 9, he signed a contract with the Celtics and made his debut (for less than a minute) in the Celtics’ season opener against the New York Knicks on Christmas Day.

Moore scored his first points against the New Jersey Jets on January 4.
