Erika Jayne is an American singer, television personality, and former actress. Erika Jayne is well-known for her hit single “Rollercoaster” and the Broadway musical “Chicago.”

Erika Jayne and her first husband have a son

Tommy, unlike his mother, lives in relative seclusion due to his professional activities.

Nonetheless, he backs his mother’s childhood dream of working in the entertainment industry.

Tommy Zizzo is her first and only child with her ex-husband.

Erika Jayne met Thomas in New York while he was working as a DJ in a Manhattan bar.

In December 1991, the couple married at St. Patrick’s Cathedral.

Soon after, she gave birth to a son named Thomas. When her marriage ended in 1996, she relocated to Los Angeles.

Tommy works as a cop, and the reality star is very proud of him.

“I’m very proud of my son serving in law enforcement, but it can be a little nerve-wracking,” she told the Daily Dish in 2016.

“It’s a dangerous occupation,” she added. “I knew my son was going to be a cop from the time he could walk and talk.”

That is all he has ever desired, and it is your role as a parent to honor who your children truly are.”

Despite the fact that Tommy has a very private life due to his profession, Jayne never holds back or talks about her adult son.

She frequently posts or speaks about her only child on Instagram, other social media platforms, and in interviews.

“I mean, we communicate with each other.” We are, indeed, friends. He’s matured. I am and always will be his mother. “And, you know, when he comes over, I still have to cook,” she joked.

She stated that when he visits his mother, he makes himself at home. “He asks, ‘Can I take a shower?'” ‘Yes, you may take a shower.’

But it’s also nice for him to be grown,” the actress said in a recent Bravo TV interview.

Erika Jayne and her son grew closer while dealing with financial difficulties

Following her divorce from her first husband, Erika Jayne married again.

She married Thomas Girardi, a well-known plaintiff’s attorney and founding partner of Girardi & Keese in Downtown Los Angeles, in January 2000 after meeting in 1998.

Her second marriage, however, did not work out, and she announced her separation from Girardi and filed for divorce in November 2020, just 10 months after they married.

One month after their divorce was finalized, the couple was named in a lawsuit for allegedly stealing and embezzling funds meant for relatives of the victims of the deadly Lion Air plane crash in 2018.

According to the media, divorce could be a “sham” to conceal wealth.

Thomas has been “extremely supportive, honestly, throughout the entire process” of her ongoing legal and financial issues with her former husband, Tom Girardi, according to the reality star.

Erika Jayne also stated that her public issues had strengthened her relationship with her son.

“My son has been incredible,” she said, “and my son and I have really come together.” … He’ll turn 30 in June. Jesus. I remember walking around New York while pregnant with him, but he’ll be 30 by then. So when you ask him what he thinks about things, you get this adult perspective, which is really nice.”
