Football Introduction

Emil first played in Sweden’s Superettan, the second division of football, before turning professional with his hometown team in 2009.

Forsberg played in all 30 games of the season throughout the team’s early years, but it wasn’t until his second season that he began to contribute goals.

Emil was promoted to Sweden’s top football division, Allsvenskan, in 2011 after scoring 11 goals in 27 games.
