Orgeron was one of the highest-paid assistant coaches at USC during his second stint.

His annual pay fluctuated between $650,000 and $750,000. After Lane Kiffin’s firing, Orgeron would be named interim head coach of the University of Tennessee.

In addition, interim head coach Ed was retained for the remainder of 2013.

After his time at Ole Miss, Orgeron wanted to take a different approach to coach.
