Draymond Green is out against the Sacramento Kings, and the Golden State Warriors lose.

The Golden State Warriors fell to the Sacramento Kings on Thursday night at Golden 1 Center in the absence of dynamic defenders Draymond Green and Stephen Curry. Green felt ill and was absent owing to an unidentified ailment. “Draymond did not come here to shoot around,” stated head coach Steve Kerr. “He’s just not in the mood.”

Draymond sits out of the game against the Sacramento Kings.

Draymond Green, the Warriors’ premier defender, will not be on the court.

Also, tonight’s game against the Kings will be without star offensive player Stephen Curry.

The Warriors fell 141-119 to the Sacramento Kings despite missing guard Stephen Curry and forward Draymond Green.

GSW has a good offensive but a weak defense.

Golden State was already missing guard Stephen Curry, who sat out for the fourth week in a row due to a bruised tailbone.

Similarly, the Warriors showed up even without Draymond Green.

The Warriors outperformed the Kings on offense but fell short on defense.

Sacramento scored at least 34 points in each of the four quarters.

On offense, the Warriors shot 51.1% overall and 53.1% from 3-point range.

Golden State was led by Andrew Wiggins, who scored 26 points, and Kelly Oubre Jr., who scored 19.

In addition, youngster Nico Mannion scored 19 points, and second-year guard Jordan Poole added 17 points.

However, the Warriors were unable to stop the Kings’ De’Aaron Fox, who scored a career-high 44 points.

He finished with 44 points on 16-for-22 shooting and seven assists.

Tyrese Haliburton, a rookie guard, added 21 points on 7-for-11 shooting.

He scored from everywhere on the court, regardless of who was guarding him.

Fox was a major stumbling block for the warriors’ team, but he couldn’t stop him from scoring.

Golden State alternated between Wiggins, Oubre, and freshman point guard Nico Mannion as the defender.

None, though, could stop Fox from making the basket.

His quickness in getting to the hoop or stepping back for an open 3-pointer gave additional opportunities for him to score.

“We had no answer for Fox, he was phenomenal,” stated head coach Steve Kerr.

“He went everywhere he wanted, hit 3s, got to the foul line.”

We had a disappointing defensive night.”

“They had more force than us, and they played with a little bit more tempo,” Oubre added. Fox is clearly on a roll right now.

He’s the league’s fastest point guard, and it’s difficult to stop him when we’re all on our heels the entire game.”

On defense, the Warriors were without Green.

The Warriors’ defensive end was clearly a shambles without Green.

They let the other team shoot roughly 60% from the field.

The Warriors missed Green’s tenacious defense and playmaking skills.

That was obvious from the manner Kings made the shot.

In Curry’s absence, Green’s playmaking ability was even more vital for the Warriors. However, he was also unable to attend owing to illness.

Green has averaged 6.1 points, 8.4 assists, and 6.6 rebounds in 38 games this season.

If there was a plausible substitute, it was forward Juan Toscano-Anderson, who took Green’s spot in the starting lineup and is now vying to be a regular in the rotation.

In 26 minutes, he ended with 15 points on 6-for-6 shooting (including three 3-pointers), six rebounds, four assists, and two steals.

Without Green, the Warriors gained the lead in the first quarter but quickly lost it over the next three quarters.

They eventually fall by 22 points against the tenacious Sacramento Kings.

Despite the setback, the Warriors remain in 10th place and will be able to compete in the tournament.

Warrior Coach Steve Kerr feels the squad can complete this stretch.

With the trade deadline behind them, they are focused on making the most of the remaining 27 games.

“It’s always a relief when the trade deadline passes because it’s hard on everyone.”

“At the very least, they can settle in,” Kerr explained.

“We must put our heads down and return to work.”

We have another game tomorrow (against the Hawks), and I am certain that this squad will make a push down the stretch.”

De’Aaron Fox was invincible.

Despite a bustling trade deadline, the Sacramento Kings arrived prepared to play the Warriors on Thursday.

They defeated the Warriors 141-119, thanks to a career-high performance from De’Aaron Fox.

Fox scored a career-high 44 points, including 25 in the first half on 16-22 shooting from the field.

Fox wasn’t the only one who had a strong showing. Four Sacramento players finished in double figures, with two scorings more than 20 points.

Tyrese Haliburton was one of them, scoring 21 points in 34 minutes. Richaun Holmes had 25 points, 11 rebounds, and one assist in 32 minutes.

The Kings were aggressive on both offense and defense, keeping the Warriors on their toes.

They had several fantastic runs in their triumph over the Warriors.

The Kings are only three games out of a play-in place after beating the Warriors on Thursday.

They are doing everything they can to make plays and win more games in order to finish in the top ten and qualify for the play-in event.
