In that match, the opponent team was not even able to make a single hit and it was a perfect game for the team.
It was one of the only 23 perfect games in MLB history and the only one in the World Series.
He last appeared in an MLB game in 1967 in the month of July for Chicago Clubs.
After retirement, he did an office job for MLB and even worked for a liquor company. He started living in Hayden, Idaho.
